About Lunar Ink

Lunar Ink opened its doors in 2019 above a quiet bookshop in the heart of Cardiff. What began as a one-chair studio for owner Sian Morgan has grown into a small team of artists who share a love of considered, hand-drawn work — fine line botanicals, bold blackwork, dotwork mandalas, and the occasional piece that defies category.

We're a private, appointment-only studio. Every tattoo starts with a free consultation: a coffee, a conversation, and a sketch. We take the time to understand the piece you want to live with for the rest of your life, and we don't take on work we don't think we'll do justice.

Our space is calm, clean, and welcoming. We use single-use cartridges, vegan inks, and hospital-grade sterilisation across every station. Whether it's your first tattoo or your fortieth, you'll be looked after the same way.
